All of our mp3s are encoded at 320 Kbps (the highest possible fidelity—twice the quality of iTunes), and each album files comes with a hi-res jpg of the cover art. You can't beat it, really. But everything here is digital only. If you want to buy actual, physical CDs of this stuff, visit our normal store, where you can also add digital versions at checkout.

Unfortunately, The Broken String isn't available in digital-only format, although you can add a digital copy to your physical order for just a dollar if you follow the above links.

This is our first full-length. It came out in 2003, and got 4 stars from Rolling Stone and a kind endorsement from NPR.

Every month in 2006, we released a little 4-song record. They all go together, these EPs; they are meant as a series.

Some of the songs from this collection made their way on to The Broken String, but there's lots of excellent stuff here that's not on that album. This series is undoubtably the fan favorite of our catalog.

We know 12 records is daunting if you're just getting to know us. JULY is the most popular, followed closely by FEBRUARY and SEPTEMBER. MAY is the quietest and DECEMBER is the rockingest.
